My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfers because I managed to buy better farm equipment for my butternut farming and I am hopeful to get a bumper harvest. I used to have a poor harvest in the past because I could not afford to buy better farm inputs. I also managed to start poultry farming which I am hopeful will expand to be bigger in future. I can now collect eggs for sales and also consume some for nutritional needs. I am glad I have a better source of income.

In my opinion, give directly does well in explaining to the community about their organization do which makes individuals to trust them because they deliver what they promise. On the other hand, I do not feel there is anything that GiveDirectly does not do well.

I spent my second transfer on paying school fee for my son who is in secondary school and I am now relieved of fee burden and my son will sit his final exams peacefully without having any fee arrears. I spent the remaining part of the transfer on renting a piece of land which I used for butternut farming. I have always been planting butternuts on a small piece of land and was not using better seeds or pesticides which resulted in poor harvests most of the time. I am hopeful to get a bumper harvest this time around because I used the best seeds, fertilizers and fungicides through the help of GiveDirectly.

I bought a barbed wire to fence my chicken shelter. Now I can rear chicken without fear of losing them. This will help me generate more income for my family.

I bought barbed wire to build a chicken shelter where I am intending to rear chicken for sale to generate income. I also bought cement ,sand and ballast to plaster my floor and the rest I used to lease and cultivate a piece of land to get more farm produce to consume and sell the surplus.
