Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My goal in the next four months is to construct an additional room purposely to host my visitors whenever they visit. This has always been a big challenge to me to an extent that I always shy away from inviting guests to come for a sleepover because it will mean my family will be forced to seek for space to sleep in neighbours houses. As much as my neighbours are always generous enough to accommodate us, I always feel like an inconvenience to them
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The fact that receiving GiveDirectly transfers has always assured of a regular income every month is the biggest difference in my daily life. At the moment, I am happier as compared to before where I used to toil so hard to at least get some cash to buy food for my household. I initially depended on casual labour which wasn't guaranteed since most people in my village are peasant farmers and so do not require labourers to work on their farms and this forced me to sometimes walk a long distance to other villages in search pf casual labour
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation is that my life will be much better in the next six months because having recently cultivated some maize in my farm, I expect an abundant harvest. This means I will cease buying maize for consumption hence my daily budget will reduce. I also plan to sell some in order to get some capital to start a small grocery business. My income sources will be diversified hence will have enough to cater for my household needs. Besides, I believe I will have completed constructing the extra guest room to host my guests whenever they visit hence I will no longer shy away from inviting guests. Generally, my family wellbeing will have improved.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I have been able to pay school fees for my children on time. Due to this, they have not been sent back home due to lack of school fees and I am certain that there will be a significant difference in their performance this year. In addition to this, I have been able to meet my family needs without leasing my farm to my neighbors like I was doing before. Because of this, I was able to do some farming this year and I am optimistic that I will have a good harvest which will last us till the next year.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have any new or additional goals for my life for the next four months as I am now aiming at clearing school fees arrears for my children. This will give them enough time to concentrate on their studies and I am hopeful that their performance will improve.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because we have a new house. Accordingly, I feel happier and less worried because my children are safer since they no longer go to sleep at my neighbor's homes. Moreover, I have gained more respect from society and my relatives since I tend to be more considerate and responsible for the wellbeing of my children. Besides, I look forward to a huge harvest since I have managed to plant more acreages of land since I have money for leasing farm. Still, I bought and planted high-quality seeds on a timely basis.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
The new goal for my life for the next four months is to buy at least three goats to expand my flock. I chose to keep goats because they tend to multiply rapidly. Eventually, I will sell them to attain more funds for buying a cow and other big assets. Thus, I will save transfers from GiveDirectly to finance the project.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I feel happier as a responsible parent that offer adequate shelter for my family. Earlier on, we were living in a congested one-roomed house. Accordingly, my children used to travel at night to seek accommodation at my neighbor's homes. Subsequently, I was much worried because they were experiencing lots of challenges. Currently, they are safer because they have their own bedroom within our homestead.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to lead a more positive life. This is because I will have started my own grocery business. Accordingly, I will be getting more income for supporting my family. Besides, I will be having a relatively large flock of goats. Thus, I will be more confident about paying school fees for my children who are yet to join secondary school.
