What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Am so happy for the opportunity, I feel my kitchen will be rennovated because part of had been destroyed by the washing flowing from the upper side of Silyai village. For over 50 year I and my husband have lived without covering ourselves with a a proper blanket and bed sheets because we could not afford buying any of them yet we so much desired to have them. But now that this opportunity to has come my way I will use this money to acquire the bed, blanket and bedsheets, so we can sleep comfortably Again, I am so happy to have this organization reach to us and I am thankful for the phone I am owning right now. I and my family will forever be thankful.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I was so happy when I received government provides us $20.14 to support the aged people like me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenge I am currently facing is that I have to work hard to put food on the table and also look for capital to start up a business because my husband is blind for now 5 years. This happened when he was diagnosed with high blood pressure and at the same time with diabetes disease. Before the incidence happen, he was a very hardworking herdsman with 4 cows. And he was able to sell off one cow and bought a piece of land where we are right now. I feel the burden of buying food , taking care of him that sometimes I am forced to lock him all alone in the house since there's no one to take care of him except me while I am away trying to raise some money for food and medication .
