What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my third transfer to buy dam liner for my fishponds, I bought fingerlings to stock my fishponds. The remaining amount, I have been using to pay water bills and food for my fingerlings. The remaining amount, I spent to buy water pump for the fishpond.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am now very much at peace because I did not have a job but now I have fishponds which I hope to harvest and get more profit from it.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending us transfers and leaving recipients to prioritize their needs. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well.

I spent my transfer on digging a fish pond 12000 KES, bought water pipes 2500 KES, gate valves 2500 KES, paid for labor 2000 KES, bought 200 fish each @7.00 KES 1400 KES, transportation 1300 KES, bought 22 pieces of iron sheets 14300 KES, bought 20 round poles 5000 KES and used balance on daily meals.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference i have seen in my life is that i now own fish pond once the fish are mature i will be able to sell them and get income.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on leasing a water pump so that I can use to pump water onto my vegetable farm as they were almost wilting due to unfavorable weather.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy when I received my transfer. My vegetable garden was drying out and I couldn't irrigate it as I didn't have any cash. Thanks to GD.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to use the transfer in horticultural farming I'll have water melon, vegetables and capsicum in that farm and in case of good yields then I'll sell them to earn daily bread.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I always love to embrace my culture, I had a plan of making myself a unique house and for sure I tried my best and constructed a round house, I'm never worried anytime because I own a room and never sleeps at the neighbor.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I went to school and did a bachelor's course in Agriculture, I've searched for a job over along time but in vain I've not succeeded in finding any though I have hopes of getting one some day.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest time of the day is in the morning when I wake up strong enough to start the day on a good note, I don't take everything for granted it's God's grace for anyone to wake up alive!
