How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because I sleep in better house structure and on a mattress, I am able to afford school fees for children unlike before.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well giving us money to build houses, buy household items, livestock and improve feeding in households; and I don't see anything it hasn't done well.

I spent my second transfer to buy household items like mattress, a flask, clothes, some was used to buy iron sheets and plaster a house, paid school fees as well.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been in position to own a cow, iron sheets, bedding's plus kitchen utensils that I didn't have before since my hut got burnt. I was also in position to pay my children's school fees in time and have got a new national ID.

The moment I received my money I became very happy.

I spent my first transfer for paying my children's school fees, buying a cow at 400,000UGX, 10 iron sheets at 220,000UGX, bedding's plus kitchen utensils and I also used some money for processing my National ID that got lost.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is lack of money for educating my children studying in standard siroko high and Aminit secondary.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest moments is during afternoon. This is a time i go fetching water at anear by borehole, i laugh and joke with my fellow women.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to build permanent ironroofed house and buying household items. My house got destroyed by fire and all the household items got burnt. This day's life is very hard since iam living through borrowed things from neighbours.
