Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was a great feeling to receive this cash grant. It is an honour that i did not expect and the money means that i will be able to build a better house and have enough food for the rest of the year.

I will for the first time have a proper house and be food secure the whole year. I have never lived in an iron sheets corrugated house in my life. This is my time and this is all because of GD. GiveDirectly has made a big difference in my life indeed.

I bought iron sheets to roof my already existing house. My son built a house for me but it was incomplete and I was unable to source any money for the finishing of the house. This is my golden opportunity to finish it.
