What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to pay college fee for my son and bought 25 iron sheets that I use to build house.I also bought 4 goats as my savings.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I no longer had school fees stress because I know even in future I'll be able to sell my livestock and pay school fees.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy two cows for 30,000 KES that will give me milk and also when they give birth I will sell the calves to get more income. I then spent the remaining amount to start a small business that gives some money to be able to buy food for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I am very happy because I have managed to buy the cows which I have always hoped to own and this gives me the belief of a better life in future. The business I started will also enable me to regularly buy food for the family.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
When i received this money i bought 8 cushions at 2800KES and then bought 30 tins of maize that took me 2400KES. I have three children in the academy so i paid for them 2500 KES school fees. I also spent 2000KES to dig a pit latrine which i hope i will construct soon.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We're planning to spend our transfer on buying two cows that will give birth to many more,secondly we will buy furniture for our house to make it more decent and lastly we intend to use the remaining amount to pay school fees for our children in primary school.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we're proudest of is having been able to build our current house,our previous house was thatched and would leak during rainy seasons making it dangerous for sleeping in,it later fell and almost killed us all.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we face currently is on making ends meet since the charcoal business we rely on is not bringing much income to sustain the big family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I'm burning charcoal with the hopes of later selling to get some income to buy food for the family.When my children eat,I find joy.
