How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because I am happy to build an iron sheet roofed house, unlike before when I was sleeping in a leaking grass thatched house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well giving us money to build houses, buy household items, pay school fees, and I don't see anything it hasn't done well.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that, am now very happy because am expecting to sleep in an iron roofed house soon after construction.

The moment I received my money, I became very happy and thanked God for Give Directly.

I spent my first transfer for purchasing 24 pieces of iron sheets at 672,000 ugx, 20 bags of cement at 523,000 ugx, timber at 225,000 ugx and 10 pieces of iron bars at 280,000 ugx.

Receiving this money means i will build a permanent house for my family. And the balance will cater for school fees of my children.
