How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to build a house in Cestos city for my family and I. Before receiving this second transfer, my number one goal was to enrolled back in school. This was very challenging for me because my family and i didn't had money. And I had this guit that i have failed my parents by getting myself pregnant, which was the cause of me dropping out of school. However, that has been achieved by the first transfer that i did receive. Now building a house in Cestos city is my biggest dream and not only me but my entire family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I like GiveDirectly so very much as a new type of NGO that I do not even know how to say thank you! For me all I do know and see about this organisation is well and have not seen any bad side. The organisation is doing so much well for my family and I. Had it not been GiveDirectly I didn't even know how getting back to school and even thinking of constructing a house in Cestos would have been possible. All I can say to GiveDirectly is thank you for being here for us.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I will spend my second transfer on buying house materials to construct a new house on the land that my father bought in Cestos city. Since my father bought that land, he has not been able to build on it because of no money. It took him several years of saving to amount to the price of purchasing that land in Cestos city. This second transfer have give my family and I the chance of building our house in the city of Cestos. We will not have to pay for house rent in Cestos to go to school anymore and niether are we going to worry of house to sleep in when traveling back from Monrovia to home (River Cess County).

My dreams I have always been to achieve higher education, but since 2020 I got impregnated and dropped out of school, I haven't been able to return due to lack of finance or support from any family member.
