How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has completely transformed for the better. I never dreamt that I would one day live in an iron roofed house, or that I would own my own bicycle. GD has really pushed me far from limits and with the push I have gotten I believe that I am even on my way to getting myself a motorcycle. I consider these funds as capital and investment into my life
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion what your organization does so well is giving money to people that least expect it. It is such a good gesture. Everyone I know in my community was stunned by it
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I did a great deal with this transfer as I had a steady budget. So I bought a brand new bicycle for easy transportation to and from my two businesses. I sell milled corn husks and run a fast food joint, both businesses need intense supervision hence the neccessity for me to have stable transportation. I also bought a mattress for my children, clothes for every family member, food, a bed, and wood that will be used later on in the year to construct another house.
