What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have been wishing to buy land in Monrovia as a means of building house there for my children to move and continue their education but I have not been able to do that because I don't have money for said plan. My son is in the 9th grade and might complete school soon so my major worry has been where will he stay to continue his education after high school. If I receive any aid from Give Directly, I'll buy land in Monrovia and build house for my children to stay and continue their education because we don't have any standard university in Rivercess county.
What is the happiest part of your day?
For the past six months, today is my happiest day. I am happy because Give Directly has given me hope for a better life for my children. I said better life because if my children get proper education, I believe there will be a change in the difficult life we live today.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My major challenge is where to get money from to support my children in school. By the grace of God I can afford food for them because I am engaged with farming activities. It is difficult to afford money to pay their school fees in private school so they are all in government schools.
