How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would not have managed to buy a motorbike and would still be hiring a bike to earn a living. This would mean paying my rent would still be a struggle and sustaining my household needs would have been next to impossible. But since I have my own, with the profits earned I am able to meet all my needs comfortably with no strains.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GIvedirectly has Uplifted the lives of many in my community. The living standards have changed and you can tell from the atmosphere that individuals are doing much better. I sincerely do not have records of the things that GD does not do well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I saved the amount towards purchasing a new motorbike. I have been hiring a motorbike to use as a taxi to allow me to earn a living but the profits earned at the end of the day have not been sustainable. So I used my second transfer to purchase my own motorbike so I do not have to hire any more.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I'm at peace and I feel proud I have a house thus I do not have any worries of how to raise money for paying for my house rent. This has also helped me save the money I used to spend on house rent. This is the biggest difference in my daily life.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was amazed to be woken up by a confirmation message that I had received money from Give Directly. This marked a the beggining of brighter day of my life because I was constantly worried of how to raise money to construct a house Receiving the money marked the end of my worries.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
Previously I was staying in a rental house in the market center because I didn't have a house. This was so expensive and at the same time, I always felt ashamed not to have a house. The moment I received the first transfer I used the whole of it to purchase building materials which I have already used in constructing a house.
