What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used my transfer in paying school fees for my child who is currently a form three because I had a huge fee balance. I also did not want her to be absent from school. I used part of it to plaster my house because I had build my house with my first and second.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on 7 iron sheets and paid school fees for my daughter in a secondary school with 5000 KES. I will use the iron sheets to extend my main house since it is too tiny to accommodate us well. Again, I feel a little bit relieved after paying some parts of the school fees arrears which has enabled my daughter to be allowed to continue sitting in class.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received my money the moment I never had any money at all. I was completely broke and at the same time, I never had food and my children had also been sent home for school fees. So the moment I confirmed that it was from Give Directly, I felt very excited. I knew that all these problems mentioned would be solved.

My happiest part of the day is in the morning when I have been invited to do some casual work knowing that I will be able to provide for my children.

Knowing that I am going to receive money makes me very happy because I am planning to open up my own business to avoid working for other people for less pay.
