What did you spend your third transfer on?
My village has one stream which is our source of water the problem is the stream is far away so when one wants to build or do something that requires alot of water this task is tiring and time wasting so when I received my last transfer I used it to dig a borehole and the rest of the cash i used it to plaster the floors of my house.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I plastered my main house with sand and cement since I was tired and sick of smearing with clay. I am glad that I will cease to live in a dusty house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I can say that since I started receiving transfers from Give Directly, I have been able to provide all 3 meals a day for my household members. This has improved our health despite hard economic times.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying off wages to those who were drilling for me a well in my compound because I live far from the water point and buying water is expensive. I spent the remaining money on food.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received the money while at home in the evening and went on my knees to thank God for such a blessing.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship has been this disease I've had on my right leg now for 7 years because i have visited many hospitals and even herbalists for treatment in vain. Neither its diagnosis nor cure has been found but I've been in a lot of pain up until today.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Mid day is my happiest part of the day because the pain in my leg usually subsides around this time and I can even walk without limping.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will definitely change my life for better as next farming season will give me a lot of harvest because I will be able to afford fertilizers and bulls for ploughing. I will also be able to plaster my house with part of the money; I will be a happy person.
