What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my transfer to buy a mattress, blanket and utensils worth 6,000 KES for my household. I also bought a cupboard worth 8500 KES, spent 25,000 KES to boast my business and that of my husband. This transfer really brought a big difference in my life.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent a portion of my second transfer on extending my house which was previously very tiny and unfit for the whole family. I am so glad that the house has become so spacious and very comfortable to stay in. Secondly, I purchased some household items to fill and match the extended and renovated house. Lastly, I boosted my shoe business which had began doing poorly due to shortage of enough operational funds.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has done so well in ensuring that even the vulnerable that have always been ignored by most organisations were recognized.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Were it not for the transfer, I would not have managed to extend my house which I had stayed in for such a long time without any signs of change.

I used a portion of the transfer to purchase corns for family consumption. Build a new kitchen using secondhand iron sheets. Paid my son in baby class fee. Gave my spouse 500 KES to buy some drugs. I also purchased my children a mattress.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer, I felt very happy and thanked my God for remembering me. I was only washing clothes for people in the community at a fee.
