How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life used to be hard. I rely on agriculture for a living. I never used to harvest alot. My yield was always low. I would always end up with not enough to eat and sell. This was a hard life. With this transfer, I have bought more food for my household and fertilizer which will double my yield. The next farming season I hope that I will finally have enough to eat and sell.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?

What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money means an improved standard of living for me and my children. I will now build a better home and a good kitchen for better food preparation. The other money will go towards buying household items such as beds, buckets and other items.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy in the afternoon. Afternoon is a good time to chat with my children when they are back from school. I learn a lot from their experiences as a mother.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Hunger is one of the biggest challenges we face as a family. Food is never enough for our family as we struggle to harvest a lot since we do not have fertilizer and good seeds.
