Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I'm so glad that, I managed to achieve things which I could not do on my own. For example I completed my house by plastering and installing a door. I have also claimed ownership of my land because I cleared all outstanding debts which my land acted as collateral security. Lastly this money enabled me provide food to my family because I stocked food which will take us for a while.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I laughed when I saw the mobile money message indicating that I have received money from GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought a door and cement which I used to complete a house which I had earlier built and paid labour. Secondly, I paid off all debts which I got using land as a collateral security. The remaining money I used it for purchasing food because there wasn't enough food in the household.
