The biggest difference in my daily life is that my lifestyle has seriously improved and I can proudly say that I can afford all the three meals in a day comfortably.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on cultivation my farm by using a tractor 4500 KES. I also bought a bag of maize for my households consumption 4000 KES and other perishable foods 1500 KES.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
On that day my family and I did not have money to buy a meal for that day and we were going to sleep without a meal . In the evening a message popped in my phone verifying to me that I had received money from GiveDirectly and upon seeing the money , I felt very happy since I was certain that my family was going to have a nice and enough meals henceforth.

When my husband died, I took the responsibility of feeding and educating my large family with a meager income, it has been very difficult.

Evening when I have earned some money to sustain my family that day.
