How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: Before the coming of givedirectly life was more difficult and we only survived by the grace of God. We survived from the sells made from our little garden and other little hustles. Our newest goal is to construct our own house, having a decent place to sleep has been a dream to my family and i. Today we are grateful to see that dream becoming a reality. All thanks and appreciation to givedirectly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
RE: Givedirectly is doing very well from the enrolment process till present they have always been sweet and kind with us. The givedirectly people that have been coming here are very different from other NGOs workers in terms of their way of talking and listening to people. They are always smiling and willing to answer all our plenty questions without giving tired or angry.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: We are going to be spending the most of our recent transfer on the building of our new house in Cestos city on a land we had purchase many years ago. We will be travelling Buchanan few days from now to purchase zinc, cements, and nails for the construction process.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to build a house in Cestos city. Since 2 years ago, my husband and i have bought a land in the city of Cestos. We have not been able to build on it, due to no money. My 2 children attend school in Cestos city and stay at my aunty house. I always dream of owning a house in Cestos where i can watch my children live with me and go to school. Hence, this transfer will enable me realise this dream of building my house and migrating to Cestos to be with my children once again.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Right now, GiveDirectly means the whole world to me. I have not seen or heard anything bad about this organisation. I have yearn for too long of building a house in the city of Cestos. But all efforts exerted proved futile. This is why i am very happy for GiveDirectly coming my way. That i can now be able to build on the land my husband and I bought.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The transfer received will be spend on buying zinc and cement to start the construction of my house in the city of Cestos. I hardly go to Cestos because I do not have a place to sleep. My children live with my aunty in Cestos to attend school. It has been long now that i have not seen them. I miss being with them everyday and want to watch over them go to school daily. Receiving this transfer certainly make me happy. I am going to buy cement and zinc to start the building of my house in Cestos.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have suffer so long from the effects of bee an illiterate, many of times when we go out for meetings and workshop, people who are letter look down on us. Lack of education today I find myself living in this town making farm to survive. I wake up every morning whether rain or shine,I have to get food for the family. Things is hard for me,I want to leave this village but how can I. So my plans now for this money if I am qualified,I will give all to education for my children, because I don't want them to be like me.I know if they are education my whole life will change I grateful for this money. .
What is the happiest part of your day?
Every day I am happy, but most of all is the promotion statement of my children. Because looking for money to educate a child now is not easy, especially for our country. And another thing is seeing you people here today to help my family and I, is a wonderful day which I won't forget about. I am so happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My current challenge now is the way in which I generate money for my family. As I said earlier, who will want to employ a woman who is not educated. I live here on farming, setting off basket and fixing gari just to earn cash. It is very challenging for us as a female. Some time in the process I get sick or wounded. Looking for money here in this town is my greatest challenge now.I am praying to get some of this transfer to cut down my expensive.
