How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because I own my livestock and I dress well. Before, I did not have cows of my own.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to do their investigations to ascertain the actual recipients during enrollment. They did not follow me at household level when I was battling with family members who defrauded me.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for paying a bribe worth UGX 1,200,000, I gave my inlaws UGX 180,000 as gifts, bought food at UGX 33,000 and clothes at UGX 160,000. I used UGX 60,000 for paying rent.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have gained self esteem.

When I received my first cash transfer worth 1,700,000ugx, I used it for treatment worth 150,000ugx, I bought a cow at 700,000ugx, I bought a door at 90,000ugx, labour 30,000ugx, I have a gift of 200,000ugx, I gave my father 300,000ugx, I bought wheat flour at 104,000ugx, cooking oil costed 44,000ugx, did trays of eggs at 66,000ugx. I have a balance of 16,000ugx which I intend to use for any emergency.
