How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My husband works and gets alittle something but it was never enough to feed all of us and finish our house. Givedirectly managed to do all that for us at once we are very grateful
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Honestly there is nothing Givedirectly does not do well. Givedirectly makes sire the right people receive these funds by enrolling people themselves. That is just wonderful.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought four bags of maize to add on the ones i already had. I also bought four bags of cement and some bricks. This was used to make the floor of my house i also used the money to buy ironsheets to cover my veranda. Lastly i used my second transfer to buy school uniform for my children and also soap to use in my home

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am very grateful to have been considered in this program. I just built a house and I have been failing to do some finishings because of money. The money from GD will help me to finalise my house. My harvest this year was also poor and I wil buy some bags of maize using the transfer to supplement my harvest. I also intend to build a fence for my house using the money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy when I am having lunch with my children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge is food. Our harvest this year is not enough to carry us through.
