How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Life is different than before because I sleep under an iron sheet roofed house, and I also bought a bicycle that relieves me from carrying items on my head for long distances. Before, sleeping under a grass thatched house would bring frustrations especially during rainy season because it leaks. Without a bicycle, walking long distances to fetch water or carry heavy items was tideous.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well giving us money that has enabled people to build permanent houses, acquired cultivation land, others have married wives. In addition, it has brought people together compared to before where disputes were common. There's nothing it hasn't done well in my opinion.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was spent to complete building the house. Then I also bought a bicycle, groundnut seeds, and a few household items.
