What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I completed the construction of my 30 iron-sheets house, cleared hospital bills for my son who had been admitted in the hospital-I am glad that as we speak, he is more stable. Lastly, I spent the remaining 10300 KES on 5 sheep and I am I feel more contented and appreciative.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I feel happy and more contented now. If it were not this transfer, my son would have been dead now since a lot of money was required at the hospital to commence his treatment-a lot of money that I could not raise! Again, I have acquired more wealth in life-I am actually wealthier courtesy of Give Directly-I have acquired more sheep and cows and my status is now a little bit elevated! This is how my life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what Give Directly does well is sending us this money directly and therefore we are able to receive it intact. However, it would consider having a different and continuous transfer program for the elderly since life is becoming harder and harder with time.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying thirty pieces of iron sheets, building poles, timber and steel door. I also bought a sack of maize, school uniforms and shoes for my children. I am expecting the last payment to spend on labour fees for building a new house now that I have bought all the materials.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest diffference in my daily life is that I am able to buy daily food for my children who used go stay angry when I never had any money. Besides my dream of building a better house will soon come true when I receive the last payment. Thanks to GD.
