What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I spent it on an acre piece of land. I have children but I never had a place for them to live and this was giving me a sleepless night. Thanks to Give Directly for the rescue.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received cash transfer in that I have acquired a personal land where my household members can settle and again, I live a debt free kind of life-the money has relieved me from vicious cycle of debts I am just thankful for this.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, what Give Directly does well is that they send us money directly and this makes it more secure. Again, it is more reliable and transparent with the money belonging to the recipient, however, I would urge them to target even school going children that were never targeted in the program since they are the future of this nation and even world at large.
