We are planning to build our own house so that we move out of the rental house, offset hospital bill that was accrued following our daughter's heart surgery and set up an Mpesa business where we can earn daily income.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Our proudest achievement is that we purchased land with money that we earned from fishing and now that we are beneficiaries of Give Directly funds, we have it easy building our house .
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we have faced in life is having to see our daughter suffer heart disease. This seriously affected us emotionally and drained all our resources.

The happiest part of my day is in the morning when God gives me another chance to see a new day as many people die when a sleep
