What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my third transfer to buy a cow for milking and also because I was longing to own a livestock. I spent some amount to pays school fees for my child who is in high school. I bought building materials like iron sheets, nails and timber and also paid laborers who built myy kitchen and the remaining amount, I spent to buy a sack of maize for consumption and also bought clothes for my children.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, i managed to enroll my child in high school, something I never thought I could do and also I have seats which I could not have owned in my life. All this would not have happened if I had not received the transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well in sending us transfers which has uplifted our living standards. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well in our community

I spent my first transfer to buy a sheep and a mattress which I needed most because I was sleeping on a mat.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am planning to spend my first transfer on buying a calf and building a kitchen for cooking and keeping my other household items. I am hoping to graze the calf to grow, reproduce and give me milk.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Firstly, we intend to use part of the transfer to buy two cows that would provide us with milk for family use, and even sell surplus to the villagers to earn some income. Secondly, we plan to use another part of the transfer to pay school fees for our son whom we expect to join form one next year. Lastly, we plan to use the remaining amount to plough our farm in good time so as to get good harvest to boost our food security.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we're very proud of is having harvested six sacks of maize, some of which we sold to get money to pay school levies for our children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we're facing is providing for the basic needs of our family because of inadequate income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening after having managed to get some food for my family to eat.
