Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was over the moon because I knew now I could afford things I wanted like constructing a house and kraal
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The difference is that now I am a proud owner of goats and a finished house, I had never thought I'd have any of these this soon. I am truly grateful.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I kept most of my first transfer and I have bought 2 goats that I am keeping. Since it's my first time, I have also constructed a makeshift kraal temporarily as I a await funds from my other investments to construct a proper one. I also bought 10 bags of cement part of which goes into the kraal construction and finishing both verandas to my house. My children also had the need for new blankets, matress and school uniform. I am left with a little money which I will use for day today needs like salt and sugar whenever it needs replacing
