How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I'm hoping to establish a business for my spouse.
I believe with this achievement it will reduce the burden on my family. My family will begin to live a comfortable life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly did extremely well for me in as much I'm now able to provide sufficient food for my family, which is a blessing to me as a man in the home.

I have been on the gold mine field for about 6 years ago . Things haven't been easy.I do daily work and what I earn per day can't take proper care of my family. Someday we will be bear to eat and my children are not in school either. Givedirectly brought so much excitement and joy to my life and that of my family.I decided to enroll my children in school and also be able to care for their needs.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If i received cash transfer from GiveDirectly i will go back to my family i came here 2016 to do gold work. But we are stocked up here with poverty at the end we are frustrated because we can't get food to eat neither will we send money for family. I have become durg adick because of frustration. I am smoking drug that i couldn't take when i were with my family. My life is mistrible. If i received this money i will be so happy! I least my family will see me again. Now they don't know where i am for the pass 6 years.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I can't get assessed to my family i have not gotten any good news or been happy for long time only feels good when we take in drugs.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenges i am facing now is so many that i can't name all. I am sick presently from the cold water. We have to stand in the water for 8 hours before we get out at the results we have to take in drugs to keep warm and strong.
