Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I am thinking of saving my profit together with my next transfers so that I would use to start up Mobile banking agency within the same business premise. I saw an opportunity in this as nowadays people use this service more frequently. Again recipients from my locality require this mobile banking service to withdraw their transfers which will enable me to get a good commission.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Three months ago, I started up a shop at a nearby shopping centre. The capital which I used to start up the business is the saving which I made from the poultry farming which is the project which I started after receiving Give Directly transfers. Since its inception, it has since then grown as I add stock every month with the transfers which I received as my monthly transfers. Now I have started reaping profit from it and thinking of expanding it. Having a business to be is a great investment for me and my family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I believe I would have expended my shop to serve more customers and have an operational mobile banking agency. These two will enable me to get a good profit. I will be financially stable and that I will have no worries about meeting my daily needs as I got a reliable source of income.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different because I have another source of income other than teaching. Salary from my teaching job comes only once a month is often already spend even before I get it. On the other hand money from the poultry-keeping flow in every day. This extra source of income has not only given me additional income but also a steady and a regular one. This has changed my life for good because I get to meet my families needs on time.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to buy a heifer. I will stop the expansion of poultry because it is now self-sustaining and focus on investing in dairy farming. Farming is a very lucrative business and has been the way of life for my family over many decades. I am passionate about it and this will help me live a good life off the income It generates.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is about the way I earn more money from the poultry-keeping business. I have been using the money to expand my business by buying more chickens and also in taking care of them. I buy enough feeds that in turn has increased the number of eggs I collect. I am a reliable egg producer to my customers and this enables me to meet my daily household needs.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have more investments in farming that will be yielding more income. I will be having a heifer that would soon calve. This will translate to milk production that will enable me to get some money when I sell it to consumers and also processing plants. Additionally, I will be running a successful poultry farming. This two activities will be sources of income that will aid me in living a good life meeting all my needs and those of my family.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Four months a go we relied entirely on casual labour to earn a living. Such casual jobs were hard to come by sometimes. This often left us stressed and frustrated. With GiveDirectly transfers, we have been able to meet most of the family's basic needs with very little difficulty. This has reduced the stress of having to do some of the hardest jobs to earn a living and which often paid hardly enough to buy food for the family. We have also been able to initiate development projects that will see us be self reliant in the near future. The poultry keeping project is doing so well and in the next four months we shall have more income for the family from the poultry keeping project.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My main focus in the next four months is to actualize the just started poultry project. I am going to give much of my time and resources to this project such that in the next four months, we can be running a poultry unit with fifty egg laying chicken. This will greatly assist us in as far as meeting our household needs is concerned.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I am now married and leading my own family. Four months a go, I was not married and I was staying with my parents. I have since moved to my newly constructed house with my wife and we have started a whole new life as a young family. GiveDirectly transfers allowed me to bring to completion my newly constructed house and enabled us to meet most of the family's obligations without having to look for casual jobs to meet the costs. It is hard to find even the oddest of the casual jobs here and we are thinking about self employment to meet the family's needs. We have also started a poultry keeping project which we are optimistic it will bear fruit and enable us meet most of the family's basic needs with much ease.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect that I will be an established poultry farmer where I will have more than a hundred chicken in my poultry unit. Poultry keeping will solve most of my family's financial problems and enable me meet the costs any costs that my family may make.
