How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Initially I was a farmer and also a contractor who go around to help people do some work, but I tell God thank you for give directly that I am able to stand on my feet. My new goal is to do a business that comprises solely of dry goods and also send my children to school.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Gige directly do well by giving me money that will help me improved my life. All that they are doing is going so well and not bad.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?

GD make me to sleep in a zinc house that I had never thought of in my life.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"I plan to buy motorbike so that it can aid me generate money to take care of myself and my wife. Because, when we are out of money the bike will help us to move from one place to the next. By this, we won't be worried about transportation fare which is very huge! And on days when the farm will not produce crops, the motobike will be there to help us in the process."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"I'm happy the most when I receive aid from someone unexpectedly, especially, when I'm really in need and there's no where else to turn! And, sometimes when I'm lecturing with my friends which is just for that moment because there's so much worry at home. In the last six months, nothing special has happened to me but I'm always still grateful everyday for life!"
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The lack of food is our biggest struggle as a family because the animals are constantly destroying the crops! We have so little left of what the animals leave there. Therefore, we don't make any money from the farm! As a family, our only concern is to get something to eat for the day."
