What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on purchasing a set of sofa to furnish my living room which had well been constructed by the second transfer. The move for these seats has increased my self esteem and confidence to welcome visitors at my home. Additionally, my life has become more luxurious and admirable to many. Other than the seats, I purchased a cow that I intend to raise for to cater for my son's future education.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has greatly improved with the transfers from GiveDirectly. I have managed to acquire a high self esteem from the great move that attained during this period.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has opened the eyes of many people who were deeply sunk in poverty with no hopes of ever acquiring some wealth. To help the organisation achieve better results, I would recommend a one or two-installments program instead of the three installments. With this, recipients would find it easy to venture into bigger projects and prosper.
