How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have a good house and will nolonger worry about my house. I have been able to have all three meals of the day.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Everything went well. There was no money lost as I was advised well about the whole programme. I am simply happy.

I used the money to buy iron sheets for the roof of my house. I have a house but it used to have a grass roof that required changing every year. I also bought a mattress with the money.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
As old as we are we need a lot of things for our welfare, so this money will mean alot to us such as buying food since we no longer farm as before. When we were strong we could have food for the whole year as yields from our farm but now we worry on what to eat on daily basis which has never happened before

I always thank God for a new day and life since I believe that it's Grace to see another day
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Due to ageness we face a lot of chronic illness which hinders us in finding our basic needs. Sometimes we even got tired from begging
