What does receiving this money mean to you?
This Recipient said, "now I am into business, I will take some of the money and invest it into my business for expansion, the remaining ones, I will enroll my daughter, who is at the age of admision for school, and lastly, my house broke down sometime ago, but now I've started cutting sticks for the rebuilding process, so I will use the remaining money on my house project, reason being, I sometimes feel very uncomfortable being in my uncle's house. There are some restrictions, and limits in doing somethings I love doing, and children crossing each other's paths can sometimes cause hard feelings."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"In the last six months, what brought us joy is that, we were able to raise some funds from the burning of coal from the spoiled woods we gathered from our farm, and now having Givedirectly in our town with such news had revived our spirits to the point that we know, and have the conviction that we all will smile for the betterment of our town."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Those challenges we are faced with now are, the reconstruction of our house, over the time, raising fund had been a serious challenge for us, the buying rate in this place is very low. Another challenge is the availability of food to sustain the family, we don't only depend on the little market we do, but sometimes go on the farm to see how best we can gather some food to sustain the family, and keep the home going.
