How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
With the first transfer I bought beddings and food although I saved half of the money. Without the transfer, most of us would have been more involved in piece work, digging in well to do people's farms rather than ours in exchange for food. But with the transfer I was able to buy food and to buy fertiliser that I have applied in my garden. From the harvest, I will sell some maize and buy another fertiliser for the next farming period.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The enrollment process was great. If GD was to give the process to the chiefs or government officials I don't think most of us would have benefited from the program. There was nothing that I can say which gd did not do well

I have not withdrawal the money yet but I am planning to build a house soon after rain season is over.

I was very happy and thankful at the same. I rushed asking my friends if they have gotten their money transfer.

I have been able to boost my business. Now I am to collect profits which I would put some to village bank for future use.

I bought a bed, I constructed a business bunch , and I have started a small scale business ( I sell tomato, Vegetables, Rice , soya peaces), I have saved some to pay those to farm in my land.
