How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago before Give Directly came into my life. I am now independent since I was able to start a business with the transfers I got from Give Directly. I really thank this organization because I didn't have hopes of being self-dependent. I am confident I have a long term source of income from my poultry business.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to boost my poultry farm. I started small, and I need to add a few pieces of equipment eg for feeding and feeds. I had added a few chickens a few months ago and I was worried they might die due to lack of enough food because I had no funds to buy more food. I am glad I was able to save this business and there is hope for it being successful because I now have money to buy their feeds more frequently.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I am now independent. I no longer depend on my guardian like I used to do previously. I used to beg for almost everything including the personal items. I am now happy because I can easily take care of my needs without necessarily going through the torture of explaining into details whenever I ask for money.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months because my business of selling chicken will have grown. I am now hopeful of living a good life and achieving my goals through the profits I will make from the poultry farm. I thank Give Directly for giving me the means of starting this business and also stabilizing it.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, my life has changed as I have been able to venture into vegetable farming. Through the transfers, I was able to acquire some piece of land by leasing for farming. I was able to buy seeds that I planted and is awaiting harvest so that I can start selling to earn some stable income. I have saved some money that I plan to use in buying a laptop to help in my studies at the college. I can now afford to buy 3 meals in a day without having to depend on my parents for any financial support.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do have a new goal of saving towards buying a laptop for my studies. I am in College and sometimes it is hectic and financially draining just to photocopy handouts for my studies. This will surely ease the hustle.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
In the last four months, We had to depend solely on my mother who is a single parent with little income. It was cumbersome for her to meet our needs at the same time, more so when they coincided as we are all in school. As we speak, with the money I receive, I have relieved her burden as I can now take care of some the responsibilities like paying school fees sometimes.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have one parent who is my mother and she is overburdened with responsiblities of taking care of us yet she has no reliable source of income.I have been saving part of my tranfers because I have a plan of starting second hannd clothes business to help my mother in paying our school fees.I think second hand clothe business will work because it is manageable and I can also sell them to my friemnds. This is my additional goalin my life for the next four months and onwards.m
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving transfers from Give Directly is that I am at least self-dependent. I do not over-rely on my mother who is peasant farmer which does not earn her much either. I can afford to buy personal items using my monthly transfers like sanitary towels, Colgate, soap etc that I use while in school. I don't ask for frequent financial assistance from my her even though she is our sole provider in the family. My mother now has fewer responsibilities.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I had a plan of starting second-hand clothing business before the next six months, thus I will have an additional source of income apart from the transfers I receive from GiveDirectly. Through this business, I will be able to pay my school fees alone. I can also chip in and help my mother pay for school fees for my younger siblings too once I stabalize the business.
