How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has improved in that, I live a relaxed stress free life. Previously, I stressed myself over how to buy food and pay school fees for my children among others. But with these transfers, I was able to meet such needs with a lot more ease. In addition, I hope to construct a permanent house for myself after the sale of livestock and the rice that I bought. I currently stay in a thatched house which isn't durable and comfortable but the iron roofed house I plan to build will once and for all solve my longest problem of renovating the thatched house annually.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
According to me, GiveDirectly has done well by giving me the unconditional cash transfers that I used for food, tuition and many other needs I met with them. There is completely nothing bad that GD has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer to buy an ox, two bags of rice and for boosting for piggery business.

Receiving this money means that I will be able to build ron-roofed house. My household will be able to cut costs involved in maintaining grass-thatched. Therefore I will be able to save some money spend on maintaing grass-thatched roof for providing basic needs like food, Education and treatment to my family members.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Evenings are my happy hours. I spend telling my children better morals and why is important for them to learn African cultural norms. This has help me realised discipline within my family members.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face currently in my family is shortage of food. I soley depend on farming which is so seasonal and not reliable due to changing climates. This has affected my family wellbeing since I can not afford what is essential for their livelihood.
