What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on constructing a descent kitchen and store for my things. My previous kitchen had weak walls and was almost falling.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would've died of hunger since i have no stable source of income and cannot do hard labour due to old age however my life is different in a way that i stocked food and I am still surviving thanks to the transfers I received.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
By letting us decide how to utilise the money given to us, GD does well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying construction materials to enable me repair my house which was leaking and in a poor state. I also bought food considering this period of famine.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is staying in a secure clean house where am not worried of the rains and bad weather conditions.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend the transfer on cementing my floor in the house and buy a cow to rear.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that I was able to educate three of my children and they are doing well with jobs now.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life was the death of my three sisters and brother. We have now remained four out of eight children born of my parents.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is evening time because this is when I sit and converse with my grandchildren about their day at school.
