Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was weeding my maize crop in the morning when i got the message that i received the money. I was so happy because i knew that now my plans of building a better house will come true. Thank you so much
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that i am now living a happy life because i have been able to buy the things that i wanted in my life. I am now sleeping on a comfortable mattress and i thank you for this.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to buy 20 iron sheets, steel nails and wires for house construction. I bought 4 bags of fertilizer to apply to my maize field. I also bought a mattress and blankets for comfortable sleep. Furthermore, my children have decent clothes now thanks to you.
