How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different from how it would have been had I not received the transfer because right now I have an alternate source of income and enough food for my family. We are happy as family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, I am glad that I was given the freedom to choose what to spend my transfer on without any limitation.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used all the second transfer that I received to buy a motorbike for taxi services. It will be an alternative source of income.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is my homestead. We have a new house and we have enough food now. It was tough to get meals consistently and not not necessarily balanced meals. Thank you Give Directly for the funds.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy when I received the funds. I was so grateful wishing that Give Directly people were here with us so we could tell them in person how grateful we are.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
We spent Give Directly funds to build a house 40000 KES and the balance on food and clothes. We have been living in one small house and now we have another one that is more spacious thank you so much words cannot express how grateful we are.
