What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy cement and two tonnes of sand and other building materials that I used build a new house. I used to live in a grass thatched house that was leaking. Using the remaining amount,I used to buy bedding. We use to sleep on the earthen floor and my children could fall sick more frequently because of the cold.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have a more neat and secure house. My children are no longer rained on. We are also free from the frequent colds as we no longer sleep on the floor. Thanks to GiveDirectly.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on purchasing 10 pieces of Iron sheets and added to the other pieces that I had purchased using my savings and constructed a house. Previously I had a grass-thatched house that leaked a lot whenever it rained. Following the weather forecast results that predicted heavy rainfalls in the near future, I felt some fear that the rains might wash away my house which was again not very stable to withstand heavy rainfalls.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received my transfer, I felt relieved from the fear that had befallen me of having a weak house in times of heavy rainfalls.
