What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying the the cost of house wiring so that I can connect my house to electricity. I also spent part of the transfer on buying clothes for my kids so that they can be neat and descent and the remaining cash I spent on buying food to feed my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I started growing vegetables which not only engaged me daily but also act as a source of income to feed and provide for my family. I also live in a descent house fully furnished and I'm taking a balance diet which has seriously improve my health. I wouldn't manage all these without the transfers from GD.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by transforming the lives in our village though GD has suspended the transfer.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to urchase water pump and pipes worth 33,000KES. The rest of the money I also used to cultivate my land and bought vegetable seeds. I am now able to provide food for my family due to the little money I receive from the firm
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I no longer depend my relatives for support since I am self employed. My firm keeps me busy and I do my best to ensure that my children are happy.

From my first transfer, I spent 5,600 KES to buy paints, bought drugs at 2,000 KES and the remaining 2,050 KES I spent to food and other household expenditures.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I would like to use part of the money to buy hydraulic solar to me do large scale and better farming. Lastly l would like to use the rest of the money to apply for electricity to help me do other business.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that l have done tree planting which has helped me to sale wood to generate income.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship in life is over dependency since my husband died living me to take care of my children all alone.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of day is in the evening after selling rice and getting some money to take care of my children.
