What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer, for paying tuition worth 70,000igx for my child in senior one, I bought clothes equivalent to 220,000utd for my children. I bought two jericans and food worth 11,000ugx and 120,000ugx respectively. The balance of 1,212,000ugx, I still have it but intend to use it for buying construction materials in order to build a permenent house for my household.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has done well by supporting vulnerable households. I do not see what they have not done well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than if I had not received this cash transfer in that I have been able to buy food in order to sustain my family following the rains that washed our crops.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I paid tuition worth 50,000ugx, I bought a bull to help the one I had worth 1,000,000ugx to simplify my farming activities. I also bought two mattresses and beddsheets worth 225,000ugx. The balance of 425,000ugx, I want to use it for buying clothes for my children and myself, not forgetting feeding.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my first transfer, I felt so happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my standard of living has improved and I now own two bulls which I will use for ploughing.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i am faced with is lack of money to buy land. The current farming land i am using usually floods hence affecting my agricultural harvests.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the morning.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means investing in agriculture. This money will buy agricultural land for my household.
