How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that,the bicycle I bought has simplified my movements and work which was hard before. I also own cows which I could not afford to have if I had not received the money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly has done well by supporting our families financially.Give Directly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent my second transfer to purchase a bicycle at 200,000ugx and 2 cows at 1,400,000ugx.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent 500,000 ugx to buy household items and I bought two piglets worth 65,000 ugx. The balance of 1,100,000 ugx I am planning to buy a plot of land.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I first heard my phone buzzing, only to check and it was a mobile money message. I was too happy and full of joy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life is much different than before because with the cash transfer I was able to purchase my household items that I did not possess before. I am now healthy and very presentable like a responsible man in the community.

The biggest hardship i am faced with is lack of household items.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening when i am at the centre with other village mates.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means i Will be able to buy livestock, buy an ox plough, build an iron roofed house.
