What did you spend your third transfer on?
I want to build my home next year, so I spent some of my third transfer buying building materials in readiness for the construction work ahead. The remaining I spent on leasing a piece of land that I have since grown rice. This will help me sustain my family. I also bought a cow for rearing.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my second transfer on buying building materials such as 30 pieces of iron sheets, steel door and two steel windows since I am planning to build a decent three roomed house as at the moment I am staying in my parent's homestead. I also bought a solar lamp which I had paid a deposit earlier 7000 KES and a bag of maize 5000 KES.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am happy since I have bought the necessary building materials for building a decent spacious three roomed house in my own homestead as at the moment I am staying in a small traditional house ( simba) at my parent's homestead .I can say that GiveDirectly has given me a hope to plan ahead.
