Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life is happy now because the Iron sheets I bought helped me to roof my house which I had built up the wall. I have been sleeping in the same house I used to cook in and the smoke stained my clothes. My children had continuous cough because of smoke. Thank you GiveDirectly.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my transfer, I felt like all my problems were solved. I lost sleep that night because of happiness.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy Iron sheets, timber and beddings.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to complete the construction of my house, buy a piece of land that I can cultivate and buy a cow that can provide milk for my family. This will improve the standard of living in my home.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the morning when all members of my household are healthy. I thank God for his protection.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of land for cultivation. I hire land each time I want to cultivate but this is expensive for me the fact that I don't have any source of income. I have never had the opportunity to buy land because I don't have money.
