How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I have been able to pay casual workers to work on my farm. This will help boost the number of proceeds I will garner at the end f the season. More produce means more income hence improvement in our living standards. I can always sell the surplus to generate income and also consume some to the end of the season. I am also able to get better food on the table on a daily basis and this has helped me sail through my old age with a lot of ease. Actually, this is the only moment in my life I can say I was able to earn income without necessarily having to work extra hard to earn it.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a new goal of saving and paying casual labourers to work on my farm as I would love to expand on my farming this season to help in increasing my proceeds.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am more independent financially. I have been unable to take more debts from friends and relatives to buy even simple meals. I can afford to eat well and even dress well something which was always a struggle as I did not have any form of income generation. I am really grateful to GD for bringing this chang ein my life as I believe I would have died of hunger. This is because all my children who helped me financially also have many responsibilities and most of the time helping me weighed on them.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
By the end of the six months, I shall have saved and bought livestock for rearing as the financial security of the family. I have always wanted to venture into farming to help in securing our finances as a family but I could not be able to as I did not have funds to fulfil the dream. I am glad that I got the chance to even think about it.

I will be able to get enough to feed on meaning my family's nutritional status will be improved. Before I could not get enough yield due to the fact that I did not have money to purchase the inputs. My family could lack food during those time because of meagre harvest every season. My family members could engage in labour work which was so tiresome and the payment was little.
