Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was home with my husband when I received the transfer, our kids were at school. It had been a while since I felt as happy as I felt the day I received my first transfer. We immediately called a Mobile Money agent but he came a day after. I was able to buy a spacious piece of land where I will cultivate and build my house if all goes well. The GD transfer came just in time for me to pay for my family's health insurance too.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
There were a lt of positive changes since we received the aid. My family and I were living in a tough situation and did not know how I would pay for my family's health insurance let alone buy land. I always wanted a spacious space to build a house and cultivate like all my neighbors. I was able to buy some land and pay for my family's health insurance all thanks to GD.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Upon receiving LS1, I bought some land worth 312 $ and paid 9 $ for my health insurance. Those are the two things that I wanted the most. I am planning on cultivating and building my house on the piece of land that I bought all thanks to GD.

I will buy a land of $500 close to my house , I rebuild my kitchen and house yard with $100 and I will use the rest in community saving and feeding my family
What is the happiest part of your day?
I have received $90 from my family member (uncle and sister) for supporting my children because I was sick (my leg). I have finished to pay all my bank loan of $102 in June 2022
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My husband left me 7 years ago because he has another wife and this is the second year that I always feel alot of pain in my leg, when I want to go to the hospital I always take a small loan of $40 in order to pay my bill, This has affected my small business of selling banana beer and The life of my children , the development of my household because always travel for my leg treatment.
