How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Well, this transfer has improved my living standards. Unlike before, I now have a good house with iron sheets. Before receiving this transfer, I had never slept in an iron sheets corrugated house. This means that any time from now, I will be able to sleep in a house with iron sheets.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well especially it's approach of targeting recipients. The process of enrolling beneficiaries is impartial.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When i got my second transfer last month, i managed to buy iron sheets and paint. I want to renovate my house when the rainy season is over. Part of it has been saved so that i pay for labour to the one who is going to do the job.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was really happy to receive the transfer. My life was filed with joy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
There is a very big difference. Honestly, i could have not managed to buy food and fertilizer on my own. This year, i will also harvest more than in previous years because i applied fertilizer in my maize field.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The transfer made me buy iron sheets, maize for flour processing, fertilizer and clothes for my entire family.
