What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on renting land(4 acres) and growing sugarcane. I also paid school fees for my children to enable them acquire education.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I was living a stressful life before the transfers because I worried about where i would get money to buy food for my family on a daily basis since we nolonger had food in the garden because of the famine and i believe that this would still be the case however my life is different ever since i received transfers because i managed to stock food and also got a source of income through investment.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD especially the staff do well by being accomodative because they always help us find solutions without minding how frequently we call raising the same issue.

I spent my second transfer on paying school fees for my children I also invested part of the money in sugarcane plantation so that i can generate more money in the future
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that i have been able to pay school fees for my children and also buy food at home in this period when food is scarce in the community

What did you spend your first transfer on?
Am planning to spend my first transfer on paying school fees for my children next month in February 2017 however much they(children) are still in the holidays.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very good when i received my money because GD took away the sadness that I had on my Heart but i did not show my happiness because my wife had passed on.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on procuring ox plough to enable me ease my farming practice of sugarcane and get much yields.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is the last season harvest of rice. It was high yielding and it helped me get money which paid my children's school fees.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is losing my partner less than a month ago. It disorganised my ambitions.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is morning hours because I am able to do my work and meet my ambitions.
