I spent my second transfer to purchase 4 doors, 5 bags of cement, Utensils and food.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well to give my cash that has helped fit doors and plaster my commercial house. On my side, GiveDirectly has only done well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed for the better in that, I was able to fit doors and plaster my commercial house that has taken 2 years without doors. I believe soon it will start generating income for paying school fees when it's rented. Before receiving this transfer, I didn't have enough money to complete my commercial house since the little money I got was spent for paying my children's school fees.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
Prior to receiving this money, I had started the construction of a commercial building in Aloet trading center but I did not complete it because I did not have enough money. When I received this money, I decided to resume it construction whereby I have so far plastered two rooms and floored them with cement. This house has taken the whole money I received from GD which is 1700000.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received this money, I became so happy to the extent that I did ululate, Thanked God, GD staff and her donors because I never thought I would get this kind of money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life is better now because, I'm happy seeing that my two rooms are complete and very soon I will be renting out my house when people start requesting to occupy it. My life is filled with joy because soon I will be a landlady courtesy of GD transfers and I will be collecting monthly rent that will cater for my household's well-being.
